Q) When can I expect my Tire swing ?

A) We usually ship within 3 business after payment is received. I will email you a FEDEX tracking number and delivery schedule when I ship your swing.

Q) Will the chain rust ?

A) No, the chain is poly coated and will not rust.

Q) How do we hang a swing to a tree limb ?

A) There are two ways to connect to limb... 

  Text Book Version:  If you have a limb about 6-8 " thick,drill a hole in limb. Insert the Eye-bolt. this becomes anchor point for swivel.  Connect with chain-link to swivel hook and chain.  (The problem with this method is that you have to be exact with your measurements and adjustment is not easy.)

 If you don't have the perfect Limb:  Wrap a single strand of chain around tree limb, Make sure you have wrapped the limb with a protective cover, such as a old rubber hose or some other material that will afford some sort of protection, otherwise the chain may dig into the branch. The chain becomes the anchor point for the swivel.Connect the chain to the swivel hook with the adjustable chain-link we supply. This method uses a little more chain, but allows you to adjust the height easily..we highly recommend this method.

Q) Will I need to do anything special to hang the tire swing ?

A) Normally the tire swing support systems attach to the woooden swing sets very easily. It is set up for a standard 7 foot wooden swing-set.

 You may have to drill a hole for the anchor bolt, before attaching. If you are attaching to a tree limb, you may need to add additional heavy duty chain, depending upon the limbs height from the ground. We can supply heavy duty single stranded chain at an nominal charge if needed. We do need to know the actual height from the limb to the ground, so we can cut the correct amount of heavy duty chain for you.

Q) How do I pay for the swing ?

A) We prefer to use PayPal where you can use your credit card or bank checking account.  We also accept Money-Orders or Checks. Shipment are processed when your check has cleared or when your Paypal are processed. 

Q) What is included with the 3 point swing ?

A) Price includes Color Coated tire (your choice), heavy duty mounting hardware,white lettering or ..no white lettering..(your choice), poly coated chain, (Heavy Duty Chain is an option) ,swivel  hook, chain-link, and anchor hardware. We also can supply additional Heavy duty chain for a tree mounted swing, if you need it.

Q) Do you make Vertical Tire swings ?

A) Yes we make the old fashion swimming hole tire swing.

Q) Why do I need rubber safety grips on the chain ?

A) Young children tend to put their fingers through the chain links rather then around them and they may pull out. The rubber surface is soft, so the youngsters hold on tighter and can get a better grip. We now offer premium Yellow and Black Heavy duty grips for the Heavy Duty chain option as well as solid green and clear for the standard poly coated chain.

Q) What advantages are there to mounting the hardware on the side of the swing ?

A) We mount our heavy duty hardware on the tread side of the large tire where the steel belt is located. This provides a stronger attachment for the chain and also eliminates any chance the hardware will interfer with clothing or little hands. The swing also looks sleeker and has a lower center of gravity for stability.

Q) Will it cost more to ship with the Heavy Duty chain or extra chain ?
